Install an SSH client (putty)
"Confirmation" email will be sent on the receipt of your New Account Request,
once approved an "Account Activation" email is sent containing
you account and login details (2 hours).
You can always request more bandwidth, disk space or domains
(reseller) at anytime you need. It may be more cost effective
to upgrade to higher plans. For large storage space requirements
(above 4GB of diskspace) please contact our
department requesting a "Diskspace Discount"
If you purchased your domain elsewhere, you should have received
a username and password combination from your domain name registrar.
You will need this information in order to modify your
domain name to point to our servers.
If you do not have this information you will need to contact
the company you purchased the domain name from to retrieve this
Once you have this information you can login to the Control Panel of your
Registrar's website and make modifications to your domain name record.
Login to your Registrar's Control Panel and look for something called DNS,
Domain Name Servers or Name Servers.
You will need to modify these entries to one set of our
Primary and Secondary Name Servers as indicated below:
Primary Name Server: ns1.webhostingcanada.org
Secondary Name Server: ns2.webhostingcanada.org
Please check with your account activiation email
Make sure that the entries above are the only ones showing and
delete any others that may be listed.
Some registrars may require you to verify this change
via an email.
Once you have successfully modified the DNS entries it can
take up to 24-72 hours for your domain name to propogate
throughout the Internet. If you need assistance with any aspect
